School & District News

  • Ken-Ton has been named a “Best Community for Music Education” by the NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Foundation for the 16th year in a row in recognition of its outstanding music offerings. Only a tiny fraction of the nation’s 17,000 school districts receive this distinction.

  • The Ken-Ton School District is proud to announce that Franklin Elementary School first-grade teacher Alex Bianchi is the most recent Ken-Ton educator to earn National Board Certification, which is considered the hold standard in teaching.

  • Artists & Teachers Recognized at Student Artist Reception

    Student artists, art teachers, and Board of Education members were recognized at the 2025 Student Artist Reception & Board of Education Recognition on October 21st.

  • On September 26th, several Franklin Elementary classrooms did something special for our local community, in honor of Mr. Bianchi's late sister.

  • In celebration of Constitution Week, many of our fourth-grade students had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site and learn about one of the most pivotal moments in American history.
