Ken-Ton has been named a “Best Community for Music Education” by the NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Foundation for the 16th year in a row in recognition of its outstanding music offerings. Only a tiny fraction of the nation’s 17,000 school districts receive this distinction.

The Ken-Ton School District is proud to announce that Franklin Elementary School first-grade teacher Alex Bianchi is the most recent Ken-Ton educator to earn National Board Certification, which is considered the hold standard in teaching.

Artists & Teachers Recognized at Student Artist Reception
Student artists, art teachers, and Board of Education members were recognized at the 2025 Student Artist Reception & Board of Education Recognition on October 21st.

On September 26th, several Franklin Elementary classrooms did something special for our local community, in honor of Mr. Bianchi's late sister.

In celebration of Constitution Week, many of our fourth-grade students had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site and learn about one of the most pivotal moments in American history.
