Principal's Message

Dear Franklin Families,
As I step into my 28th year in education and my 7th year as principal of Franklin, I am reminded of how fortunate I am to be part of such a wonderful school community. Each year brings new opportunities to grow, and I am eager to continue our shared journey of learning and partnership.
One of the things I value most about Franklin is the way we come together as a school family. We celebrate each child’s unique strengths and nurture their growth both inside and outside the classroom. Our commitment is simple yet powerful: when children feel supported and cared for, they flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our teachers have been preparing all summer to welcome students back, not only by refining their practice in literacy and numeracy, but also by thinking deeply about how to create classroom environments where every student feels safe, included, and excited to learn. Their dedication inspires me daily, and I know it will inspire your children as well.
In just a short while, the energy, joy, and laughter of our students will once again fill our hallways — something I look forward to each year. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for partnering with us in their journey. Together, we will make this year one filled with growth, connection, and success.
With warm regards,
Mrs. Kia Evans
