Franklin Elementary Welcomes Distinguished Guest Author

Franklin Elementary School was excited to welcome Dee Romito, a distinguished author of fiction and nonfiction books for children of all ages.

Dee is a Buffalo native whose books include "The Last Plastic Straw," "No Place Like Home," "Pies From Nowhere," and the “Fort Builders” series. Dee spent time talking to students in each grade level about her books and helped them learn about storytelling and the importance of details.
